I had been suffering with abdominal pain for over a year and after investigations with the NHS I was left with medication and a list of food I wasn’t allowed to eat and no real diagnosis. I felt completely lost and had no real idea of how I could get better. So, I contacted Zoe to see if she could help and we agreed an 8 week one to one program would be the best course of action.
I have a history of yoyo dieting and emotional eating and I was really uncertain that I could stick to any sort of changes but with Zoe’s support and guidance it couldn’t have been easier. The lifestyle advice and emotional support she provided has resulted in weight loss, improved energy and most importantly for the first time in a year being medication and pain free.

My main reason for starting this journey was to help with hormone and blood sugar balancing after starting the menopause. Every session is completely personalised, plus weekly messages, accountability, plans for the weekend, updates and new recipe ideas.
With Zoe’s knowledge, support and encouragement, I very quickly slipped into a good routine with food and exercise. The new lifestyle choices became easy and I created new good habits, even with a holiday in between, I found it quite easy continuing with the good choices and quickly started up from where I left off.
I think this is mainly because I am not on a diet. I have been on a diet of some description for 20 plus years, and I wish I had discovered this a long time ago.
I have learnt so much and I have seen an incredible difference in 8 weeks!
My mood, my anxieties, my skin, my sleep, my confidence and my weight loss have all improved.

"I have lost 12kg in 6 months and couldn't be happier, I can fit into my old clothes again!"
I wanted to lose weight, but also get fitter and eat healthier too. I was struggling with weight, gut problems and some joint issues. I'm 56 years old and needed pointing in the right direction. Zoe got straight to the heart of the issue, which was mostly that I was eating much too sporadically and often very late at night. With some simple changes to my eating routine ( eat lunch, eat more protein), the weight started to come off!
The whole idea was always a long-term programme, not a crash/fad diet. It's not a question of watching the scales; I didn't want to do that. I need to be able to eat what I want, and sometimes I have a strange schedule for work, so I also need to understand the relationship between certain foods so I can eat what I like and what I need, but make sure I don't tip the balance.
It has worked! I am now 2 stone (12 KG) lighter since Nov 2024, the weight is coming off, and I can fit into my old clothes again!!! I couldn't be happier.

Initially I was apprehensive about the concept of coaching, but Zoe was welcoming and friendly. She was encouraging and obviously passionate about the benefits of blood sugar balancing and had a holistic approach that was not just focussed solely on weight loss. Her ongoing support through the weekly coaching sessions and check ins enabled me to feel back in control of my eating as well as regaining positivity and motivation.
On a practical level, the weekly objectives and the meal planning/recipe ideas helped add structure to my meals. In addition, this is a pragmatic approach that also worked well with family food planning. It's also worth emphasising that Zoe's approach also covered and encouraged the discovery of alternative reward strategies that did not revolve around 'treat' foods. This was an important augmentation to the overall approach.

"I will never look back, I felt better after just 6 weeks"
I have struggled for years with feeling unwell due to Chronic illness. I always felt tired and sluggish, and wanted to do something to change the way I was feeling. Zoe offered me a 6-week session felt nervous and apprehensive about starting with it, but there was no need, as Zoe made me feel extremely welcome and relaxed. I've been amazed at how much I've achieved and am pleased with the progress so far. It's not just been ways to improve and achieve healthy eating, Zoe has helped me with learning mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and ways I can exercise, but has always kept my Chronic illness in mind.
The sessions were always tailored to my specific needs. It really is a whole package. Zoe has given me so many new recipes and food alternatives, some of which I hadn't tried before, but I can honestly say that I have thoroughly enjoyed every new recipe I've cooked and all the different food alternatives I've tried. If you are in the slightest bit curious about what a health coach can do for you, I urge you to give it a go.
I'm so pleased that I did and I will never look back. I feel better even after 6 weeks and this is now a new way of life for me. I would 100% recommend Zoe as a health coach to anyone who wants to change the way they feel for the better. DO IT- You don't know how good you could feel.
